Tuuuuesssday Cruuuuuuise Day!

Tonight is the first "Tuesday Cruise Day" put on by the Rochester Bike Shop! This ride is more of a "casual ride" than some of your other group rides, hence the name. Personally, it sounds right up my alley! I love going for bike rides, but i don't have a fixie or some super intense mountain bike. I have a Trek Cruiser with a nice big basket on the front! Because of this, I don't bike with very many of my friends. No, not because they are embarrassed by my basket and bell!

So, needless to say, I was super excited when I heard about these weekly outings. If you haven't ever rode in Rochester before, it is a lot of fun! There are tons of hills though, so you really should wear a helmet. (Sadie and I have gotten in a couple of fights about this before, because I usually refuse to like a moron.) Riding through Rochester gives you the best of both worlds though, with it's downtown area along side the parks and wooded trails! It is definitely one of my favorite suburbs! (Check out Sadie's article about the Paint Creek Trails here!)

So make sure to grab your gear, pump up your tires and head up to Rochester! The ride starts and ends at the Bike Shop on Main Street in Downtown Rochester. It begins around 7:15 and will last a couple of hours! Don't forget to grab some sunglasses and keep your mouth closed on the trails! It can get a little buggy out there!
