Another Michigan Made Movie Headed to Theatres Soon!!!

Although movie making in Michigan is slowing down, there are still a few big films that were made here that haven't been released yet. One of these movies is "The Giant Mechanical Man". This movie was filmed in the Detroit area back in 2010 and is finally ready to be released!

The movie stars Jenna Fischer (The Office) along side Chris Messina (Julie & Julia), Topher Grace (That 70's Show) and Malin Akerman (Wanderlust, The Proposal). It was shot in tons of great places throughout the Metro Detroit Area, but a lot of the movie takes place in one of my absolute favorite places...The Detroit Zoo!!! For that reason alone, I can't wait to see this movie. There are tons of other Detroit staples that are seen in this movie too. Check out the trailer and I'm sure you will spot some!

"The Giant Mechanical Man" is set to hit theatres in the Detroit Area on May 4th. Keep an eye out for showtimes!
