Ting Ting Ting!!!

The Ting Tings are on tour right now in support of their new album "Sounds From Nowheresville". Last night, was the first time these Brits made a stop in Detroit and we were lucky enough to make it out to see them play! The show was at St. Andrew's Hall and it was pretty full. Not jam packed though, so you still had room to dance! There was definitely a different mix in the crowd, with fans ranging from 13 to 60 years old! I must say, the older fans seemed to be enjoying the show as much, if not more than the younger fans.

The band played about a 45 minute set. They definitely seemed to play more songs off of the newer of their 2 albums. All of the songs were good, but since I am more familiar with their first release, I was kind of bummed that they didn't play a few of my favorites from that album! Regardless the band sounded great and the crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. 

The lead singer, Katie, is one of the cutest girls ever! She has a style of her own that is the perfect mix of Tomboy, Punk Rock and Sexy! So adorable! Here are some pics we snapped at the show!
