TEDxDetroit

Ted X is a global movement to bring together people from the entertainment, technological, and design worlds to share ideas. This week they are hosting an event at Cobo Hall called TedxDetroit.

This year's speakers include:

  • Amy Kaherl & Elizabeth Garlow, Detroit Soup, Kiva
  • Ryan Landau, Co-Founder, Chalkfly.com

There will also be musical performances by George Morris & The Gypsy Chorus and Ancient Language.

This is a chance to meet some real Detroit entrepreneurs, see some great music, and link up with others that share passion for rebuilding and redevelopment of our wonderful city.

Tickets to this event are limited and cost $50 a piece. You can get more information about purchasing tickets and updates about the conference here. This event goes from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Wednesday, October 2nd. Cobo Hall is located at 1 Washington Blvd. in Detroit.

  1. I was at the Avery Fisher Place last week. And, I would say, this place is about a thousand times better! This place has one aspect that is missing at Avery Fisher. And that is acoustics.
