Detroit Fall Beer Festival

It may seem like all we are doing this week is telling you about ways you can celebrate the Fall season. We can't help it! There's just so much going on. Apparently Detroiters love this season! Well, along with Fall comes another yearly event that is happening this weekend. It's time for the Detroit Fall Beer Festival!

This is the 5th year for Detroit's Beer Fest, taking place at Eastern Market this Friday and Saturday. The festival will feature 450 craft beers from 60 different Michigan Breweries. The list includes a ton of favorites, including Short's, the W.A.B., Lily's, Black Lotus, and Kuhnhenn. There will also be food available for purchase and live music by The Muggs, St. Thomas Boys Academy, and more!

Tickets for the festival are $35 a day, with Friday's hours running from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 1-6 p.m. Tickets will grant you admission to the festival along with 15 beer tokens that will get you 3 oz. samples of beers. You can purchase more tokens inside for 50¢ a piece. If you aren't much of a beer drinker, but you still want to go hang out, there are Designated Driver tickets available for just 5 bucks. If you buy one of those tickets though, make sure you don't drink! Not even a sip! If you get caught, you will be escorted off the property, made a fool of, and probably grounded when you get home too. Not really though, you'll just get kicked out. To purchase tickets ahead of time click here. Tickets will also be available at the gates, as long as the event doesn't sell out, which it typically does. The fee for online ticket sales is only $3 though! A small price to pay if you'd rather be safe than sorry!
