Detroit Restaurant Week- Fall Edition

Anyone that knows me can tell you that I love food. It's a family thing. Whenever we are all together, we eat, a lot. And no, we are not Italian. I love trying different food, too. I'll try almost anything at least once. So as one can imagine, I'm pretty excited about Detroit Restaurant Week. Unfortunately I ended up having to work last time when I was supposed to go and I completely missed out on trying a new restaurant. I do not want that to happen again this time around!
Detroit Restaurant Week is actually longer than a week as it runs from September 28- October 7. There are 17 participating restaurants that you can choose from for dinner. You get a 3-course meal for $30, which is a pretty good deal for the restaurants included. You don't need any tickets, but reservations are highly recommended. The DRW website makes it nice and easy for you shy folks because you can make a reservation online on the restaurants individual pages, which also list the menus.

This is an awesome opportunity to finally try that fancy restaurant you've been eying but haven't wanted to spend the money on or had a reason to go to yet. Detroit has so many great restaurants and a lot of them are kind of hidden and unknown, so events like this are great for opening people up to them.

Make sure when you get to the restaurant to request the DRW menu, though. Or don't and try something else! You aren't limited to the designated 3 courses. If you head down there this weekend, make a night of it! There are a lot of things going on this weekend you could head to afterwards. Just check out our 'Stuff You Should Go To List' to the right!

Bon Appétit!
