Touch @ New Way Bar Saturday

I was very disappointed a few months ago when I found out The Summer Pledge had broken up. I thought they were an incredibly talented bunch of musicians that had found a great groove together. I'm not sure why they ended that project, but I do know that two of the three members have started a new project and word on the street is that they are pretty good.

I have not personally been able to catch them play live yet, but when a few friends did they gave me nothing but positive feedback. The new project is called Touch and they are playing the New Way Bar alongside The Bobby Electric and Strange Matter this Saturday, June 22. This show starts at 9 p.m. and is $5 at the door. You can also take a listen to the new album, Future Weed, here. New Way Bar is located at 23130 Woodward Ave, Ferndale. This should be a fun cheap way to check out this new band and see some good music. We are looking forward to seeing this new project and discovering what new things Jeremy and Dustin have brought to the table. Out of one good band's death, a new one can be born.
