See Fireloom at a Benefit Show for Access Arts Belle Isle Exhibition

Belle Isle keeps getting hipper and hipper, and is slowly becoming one of the coolest places to hang out in the city. From enjoying the beaches to using the old casino for weddings and events, and opening the aquarium back up, they have had a lot of changes over the last few years to breathe life back into the space.

Unfortunately all of these changes take money, one thing the city of Detroit doesn't have. So instead it's up to us to come together and provide the funds needed to help further this noble cause. One way to raise money is to put a benefit show together, which is exactly what Access Arts Detroit has done. They are attempting to raise money to fund five exhibits that will be hosted on Belle Isle over the summer/fall. Each of these exhibits will run for two weeks and will consist of different installations, sculptures, and even performances around Belle Isle.

The have asked Fireloom, Isles of ESP, Pink Lightning, W7 Shitter Moth, and Crappy Future to perform this Thursday at PJ's Lager House to help raise money for their cause. The show will start at 9 p.m. and there is a suggested $5 donation at the door. The event is 18 plus and the Lager House is located at 1254 Michigan Ave, Detroit. If you haven't seen Fireloom yet, this your chance to catch a set and donate to a great cause.
