Folk Punk Rock @ The Magic Stick with Bryan McPherson

Tonight, acoustic, folky music will be filling the room again at the Magic Stick in the Lounge area. If you enjoyed The Revival Tour, you might want to check this one out. Boston native, Bryan McPherson will be hitting the stage along with  Detroit's own Brett Jones of Fireworks, Steve Semegen of Bailout, Timmy Reynolds and Kevin Kalnasy & Mark Vollmerhausen of Sharks Never Sleep. This is a chance to see some of your favorite punk rock front men from the area play as a stripped down acoustic version of themselves. 

On top of seeing some great Detroiters, headliner Bryan McPherson is a treasure himself. His often politically driven songs have been heard around the country from Occupy events to gigs with bands like Dropkick Murphys and H2O. Bryan's album American Boy / American Girl was released last year and was followed by a tour funded by a Kickstarter campaign.Check out the video for "Black Man" off of American Boy / American Girl below.
