Long Hair & High Pitched Singing Coming Your Way!

Tonight, The Darkness is set to hit the stage at their sold out show at St. Andrew's Hall. You may remember this band from their big hit back in 2003, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love". When their 80's hairband-esque style hit the airwaves and MTV, you couldn't really get away from that song. Since then, you haven't really heard much from The Darkness other than a CD they released in 2005, that didn't quite live up to the hype of the first.
Well the band is back, with all of its original members, and they are touring the U.S. again for the first time since 2004! Although the band doesn't have a new album out just yet, they have released their first new song in 6 years entitled "Nothin's Gonna Stop Us". Here is the music video for the single, most of which is animated. It was created by visual rock artist Thom Lessner and directed by Ted Passon.

The song stays true to their roots, and is available to their fans as a FREE download

If you don't already have tickets to tonight's show, you may be out of luck. However, if you want to get in on the party, Running With Panthers is playing the official after party downstairs at The Shelter! If you haven't seen Running With Panthers yet, you have to go to this show! I'll just let the dudes from the band tell you why.

So go out to St. Andrew's and The Shelter tonight!!! Or if we still haven't convinced you, go see The Muggs at The Winter Blast! Or go to Star Wars Night at The Pistons game! Regardless of what you do, go out and do something! It's Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
