Win Tickets to See Black Moth Super Rainbow This Friday!

Experimental band Black Moth Super Rainbow is currently touring around the U.S. and will be making a stop right here in Detroit this weekend. Friday, May 10 they will be at The Magic Stick. The lineup also includes The Hood Internet and Oscillator Bug.

Black Moth Super Rainbow is from Pittsburgh and was started in 2003 as a solo project by frontman/songwriter TOBACCO. Since then they have added a live band and released 5 albums. The most recent one, Cobra Juicy, was just released this past October. The band has elements of psychedelia, folk, electronica and pop, so there is something for almost everyone mixed in!

The all ages show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are available online here for $15. However, we are going to be giving away two pairs of tickets to two lucky winners. All you have to do to enter yourself to win is email us at hipindetroit@gmail.com with your full name and 'Black Moth Super Rainbow' in the subject line. We'll announce the winners and notify them Friday morning. Good luck!
