Autumn Wolf "Primal Passion" Release Show

This Friday Autumn Wolf will return to the stage at the Magic Bag to release his highly anticipated first full-length album, Primal Passion. We first met Autumn Wolf, a.k.a. Alex Kaye, when he opened for Flashclash at the same venue a few months back. This time he has brought along a great group of artists to open for him. Openers include Casio Choir, Erno the Inferno (from Slow Jams at Woodbridge every Monday) and Alexis (an amazing pop act from Grand Rapids). All three of these openers are worth the $5 cover charge by themselves, but add a performance by Autumn Wolf to end the night and this should be one fun dance party.

We have already had a chance to listen to the new album and to put it mildly, you will not be disappointed. This will be an album that you jam at parties for the next few months at least. Alex knows how to work a guitar and a crowd. He exudes so much energy that it's hard to believe that there is only a guitar, a synth and a boy on stage when you see him perform. Who knew one guy could light up a stage like that? Mr. Wolf will also be previewing his new music video before he performs as an added bonus for the crowd. So make sure to get there for the preview before the show.

Tickets are available here and if you purchase yours in advance, 20% of your purchase will be donated to the preservation of Michigan's wolf population, which is being threatened by new hunting laws. The Magic Bag is located at 22920 Woodward in Ferndale. Doors for this show are at 8 p.m. and tickets will also be available at the door. In the meantime, get yourself ready for this weekend by checking out one of the tracks from the newest album here featuring Lianna Vanicelli from Phantasmagoria.
