It's Time To Liven Up Your Wardrobe

Saturday night The Loving Touch is having a different kind of event. They will be hosting a Clothing Swap to benefit John F. Kennedy Elementary School's PTA. I'm sure many of you are like me and get very sick of your clothes very fast, but don't always have the means to go buy new ones. If this is how you feel, then this event was meant for you. However, sorry boys, this one is just for the girls. 

Basically, all you have to do is bring currently fashionable (Duh! Who wants to be unfashionable?), new or slightly used clothing, accessories, shoes, purses, jewelry and/or belts to The Loving Touch Saturday night. Then you will be able to shop around and pick out new clothes for free! 

Not only will there be shopping, but you will also be able to sample desserts from local restaurants and receive free mini spa services by Ferndale's finest women-owned establishments like Rouge, Essential Massage Therapy, Alchemy and Flip! Volunteers will sort through the clothing to set it up for shopping while you have fun being girly and enjoying food and drinks. There will even be psychic readings for a fee by Boston Tea Room.

So head down to Ferndale tomorrow night to The Loving Touch and get yourself a new outfit! It does cost $20 to get in and make sure you have at least 5 clothing items, but that is not much to pay for new clothes and a good cause! The event goes from 6-9, shopping starts at 7:30 sharp. All the leftover clothing items will be donated to a women's shelter.
