Win Tickets to See Cloud Nothings with Tyvek and Destroy This Place

Five years ago Cloud Nothings emerged as the most recent solo project of singer songwriter Dylan Baldi. He wrote vocals and instrumentals and played them will a full band in his parents' basement.  Eventually he recruited drummer Jayson Gerycz and bassist T.J. Duke to become permanent fixtures in the band and they started writing and recording music together. They are loosely described as being post-hardcore, post-grunge style punk rock, but I would describe them a little simpler as indie rockers with style.

Cloud Nothings are currently on tour for their latest album Here and Nowhere Else. They will be coming to The Loving Touch with Tyvek and the ear crushing Destroy This Place. I love when good bands invite other good bands to open the show, especially when they are home town boys like DTP.  You can check out music from Cloud Nothings here from Tyvek here and from DTP here

The show will take place Saturday, October 11th at The Loving Touch in Ferndale. It is only $10 to get in the door and tickets can be purchased in advance here. You can also win a pair of tickets by sending you full name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with Cloud Nothings in the subject. We will draw a winner the morning of the show and send them details on how to claim their prize.

The Loving Touch is located at 22634 Woodward Ave. in Ferndale.
