Help Kids Beat Cancer with Jamaican Queens and Doc Waffles

This Saturday Jamaican Queens and Doc Waffles will take a break from bouncing around the city to drive out to the burbs and play a show to raise money for charity. That's right Romeo, two of Detroit’s finest acts are coming to the home of the Peach Festival to participate in this year's St. Baldrick's fundraiser.

Every year Romeo fills with people willing to shave their heads to raise money for children's cancer reach. My favorite salon, Salon Noir which is also located in Romeo, is known for participating in this event every year. It's a fun way to help raise money and awareness for a serious issue.

DJ Ben Christensen will be playing sets in between the bands. The fun starts at 8 p.m. at 120 South Main Street in Romeo. This event is FREE, but don't be a broke ass, bring a few dollars to donate to the kids.
