Hip in Detroit Celebrates 5 Years on This Saturday's Podcast

Last week we announced that we are celebrating our five year anniversary on January 6th at El Club. Against the Grain, James Linck, Go Tiger Go, and The Messenger Birds will be performing as well as a guest that won't be announced until January 2 live on WDET with Travis Wright. We will also be sitting down to broadcast a live podcast with some of the bands this  Sunday, December 11 Saturday, December 17th. M-1 Studios will once again be bringing you our podcast of all things hip in Detroit. You can tune into the show by visiting at 6 p.m. on Sunday. We will be on the air until 7:30 pm. Due to last weekend's snow storm, we have rescheduled this podcast to this Saturday, December 17th! You can spend your afternoon listening live beginning at 1:30 p.m.! We always broadcast from Studio 2, so click on that portal when you go to listen live.

For the fifth year in a row we will have lots of prizes that we will give away in between the bands. Everyone who comes out and pays 8 bucks to get into the birthday bash will get a raffle ticket and will be eligible to win prizes form a variety of local companies, including A & E Heating and Cooling, Camera Jesus, Jett Plastic Recordings, B. Nektar Meadery, Suck It Suicide, M-1 Studios, InkAddict, Zeke's Rock & Roll BBQ, the Michigan Science Center, St. Andrew's Hall, Green Dot Stables, Johnny Noodle King, Huron Room, Blumz by JR Designs, Black Iris Booking, Party Store Productions, Ironclad Tattoo Co., Rock City Eatery, Saffron, Incognito, Lost Highway, The WABThe Emory and PRTY Crew Collective.
