Get in the Holiday Spirit at Noel Night

This Saturday night, December 3rd Noel Night will take over Midtown Detroit. Now in it's 44th year, this annual event brings together droves of people and brings the holiday spirit to the streets of Detroit. One of the biggest highlights of this event is free admission to some of Detroit's greatest attractions. The Michigan Science Center, DIA, Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, and over 100 establishments in Detroit will open their doors to the public free of charge. Then, as you stroll from place to place, there will be plenty to do throughout the streets of Detroit. Some of the festivities include horse-drawn carriage rides, shopping, crafts and performances by over 200 area music, theatre, and dance groups. The night is topped off by a Christmas sing-a-long in the streets.

Noel Night will kick off at 5 p.m. on Saturday and goes until 10 p.m. There will also be shuttles running between participating venues, if you're worried about all of that walking.
