"It's a Wonderful Life" at the Redford Theatre

It truly is a wonderful life and this weekend the Christmas classic will remind you of that! This Friday and Saturday, December 16th and 17th It's a Wonderful Life will be showing on the big screen at the Redford Theatre. This classic movie tells the story of, "An angel [who] helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed." The 1946 film stars James Stewart and Donna Reed and always brings out all the feels! Take a minute to watch the trailer below.

It's a Wonderful Life will be shown at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. There will also be a 2 o'clock matinee on Saturday afternoon. Tickets are only $7 and can be purchased in advance here. We highly suggest that you purchase your tickets in advance as the holiday events sometimes sell out.

The Redford Theatre is located at 17360 Lahser Road in Detroit. The theatre and the box office open an hour before showtime. Make sure you get there early to hear an overture on the classic Barton organ too! The music typically starts about a half an hour before the movie begins.
