Win a Pair of Tickets to See The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band with Zander Michigan and More!

The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is one of the hardest working bands in the business. Reverend J. Peyton plays the guitar and sings lead, while Breezy Peyton plays the washboard, and Max Senteney is on drums. Yeah, she plays the washboard, for real, in person, live! The group has released 7 full length albums, 1 EP and  they tour at least 250 days of the year. Their country blues sound crosses genres and appeals to an array of fans. You can check out some of their tunes here.

If you like what you hear, you will have a chance to see the Big Damn Band perform live this weekend. The group will be making a stop in Detroit to perform this Friday, June 17th. They will be playing The Majestic Cafe alongside Joshua Black WilkinsDear John Tractor, and one of our Detroit favorites, Zander Michigan. If you are a fan of country music with a touch of the blues, you will love this entire lineup!

Tickets for the show are only $20 in advance and $22 the day of the show. We also have one pair of tickets to give away to the show courtesy of the bad ass babes over at Black Iris Booking. If you would like to enter to win a pair of tickets to the show, please email your full name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with the subject line #bigdamnband. We will draw one lucky winner the morning of the show! All ages are welcome to attend this one and the fun starts at 8 p.m. this Friday!
