The Storefront Gallery Welcomes Laura Finlay

The StoreFront Gallery is a small privately owned gallery in Ferndale, Michigan. The gallery features a lot of Detroit's best up and coming artists throughout the year. It is owned and operated by Derek John, one of the co-owners of Mary Ann's Soda who was recently featured on the Metro Times People of Detroit issue. The space also hosts all types of events, including pop-up art exhibits, dinners, boutiques, parties, improv nights, and flea markets.

This week Laura Finlay will be premiering her latest work at The Storefront Gallery. Laura is a talented vocalist, musician, and visual artist. She sings in Sleepless Inn, a two piece that features Laura and Eddie Logix. Her latest art gallery is called Floral Pleasure, the collection will feature large collages of flowers. This week Laura shared a preview of her work to get everyone excited for the gallery.
We are officially intrigued and we want to see more. If you want  to see more, you can attend the gallery's opening this Saturday, June 20th. The StoreFront Gallery is located at 477 West Marshall, Ferndale, MI. The party starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.  The show will run for at least a month and the space is usually open on Saturdays. Follow the gallery on Facebook to keep up with their hours and future events!
