RiverDays at the Detroit RiverFront

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday head down to the Detroit River Front for the 8th Annual Riverdays. The event features three days of rides, live music, food, sand sculptures and even zip lines. There will also be Jet Ski demonstrations, appearances by the Tuskegee Airmen, and there will even be Tall Ships on site. This year the Riverdays music lineup includes a wide variety of bands. Some acts that stood out on the lineup are Detroit's own Bill Grogan's Goat and Kaleido, as well as big names like Gladys Knight and Bell Biv DeVoe. To see the full lineup click here.

Admission to Riverdays is $3 before 3 p.m. or $5 after 3. Children ages 3 and under are free and so are seniors that are over 65. If you head down early on Friday to kick the weekend off, you can get in for free between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Don't forget, the Riverdays festivities all lead up to the big Detroit Fireworks show on Monday, June 22nd.
