Check Out the Michigan Science Center for FREE on Saturday!

Here in Detroit we are lucky enough to have some great museums. There's the DIA, Charles H. Wright Museum, Detroit Historical Museum, The Henry Ford, Hitsville, MOCAD, and the list goes on and on. Well this weekend you have a chance to check out one of the most popular museums in town for FREE, the Michigan Science Center.

This Saturday, June 20th is Ford Free Family Day at the Science Center. That's right, general admission to the museum is completely free this Saturday thanks to the Ford Motor Company Fund. Guests can check out all of the great regular displays and hands on exhibits from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. You can also check out the brand new Robot Lab that is opening at the MiSci Center. In conjunction with this great opportunity for the public, the Science Center is also celebrating teachers on Saturday. Guests can show their appreciation for their favorite teacher by drawing a picture or making a card. As an added bonus, teachers that visit the museum on Saturday will get a gift and can enter to win a field trip for their class next year.

The Michigan Science Center is a great place to visit for both children and adults. Why not take advantage of this chance to check it out for free? For more information on Ford Free Family Day, click here. The Michigan Science Center is located in Detroit at 5020 John R.
