See "Jaws" in Theatres this Wednesday

This week marks the 40th anniversary of Jaws, the movie that made everyone a little weary of swimming in the ocean. Then there are a few of us that are even keeping an eye out for sharks in lakes and pools. Hey, you never know! Crazed sharks could show up anywhere!

In honor of the milestone anniversary of this legendary movie, Turner Classic Movies has teamed up with Fathom Events and Universal Pictures to show Jaws on the big screen once again. On Sunday, June 21st movie goers in over 500 theatres were terrified by Jaws again. In case you weren't one of those people, we wanted to let you know that you have another chance to see the film this Wednesday, June 24th. Jaws will be shown at select theatres in Metro Detroit and around the country at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Prior to the movie there will also be an intro by TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz. Some of the theatres in the area that you can catch Jaws at are AMC Livonia 20, AMC Forum 30, Cinemark Movies 16 and Canton Cinema. There will also be bonus footage shown at these screenings.

Stay out of the water, keep an eye out for sharks, and "see it before you go swimming".
