Chatting with Eddie Spaghetti Before the Supersuckers Hit the Stage at Small's!

Tonight at Small's in Hamtramck, what some call the greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the world is hitting the stage. Supersuckers are heading to town and kicking off their midwest tour with Detroit's own the Beggars

Supersuckers are one of those bands that never seems to stop touring and they definitely never stop rocking. They recently released their latest album Get The Hell which you can check out here. The band has been touring across the US all summer in support of the album and are heading over to Europe this fall.

We had a chance to ask front man Eddie Spaghetti a few questions via email before their show tonight at Small's. Check out what he had to say below.
HID- How does it feel to be part of the "Greatest Rock N Roll Band"?
Eddie Spaghetti- "Great! Very rewarding. This band has given me everything."
HID- Other than Supersuckers, is there anyone else that you considered tied for that title?
Eddie Spaghetti- "AC/DC is probably the actual Greatest so we're happy to share with them."
HID- What can you tell fans about the new album, "Get The Hell"?
Eddie Spaghetti- "It's awesome. That we have no business putting out a record this good, this late in the game. I mean, really, who does that? Just The Greatest, that's all."
HID- What does that title mean?
Eddie Spaghetti- "It means you better Get The Hell or your ass is grass!"
HID- You recorded in Texas with Blag Dahlia of The Dwarves. Can you tell us about that?
Eddie Spaghetti- "No. If I did, I'd have to kill you."
HID- Best Supersuckers album yet?
Eddie Spaghetti- "Yes!"
HID- I'm sure you've been asked this question a million times, but where did you get the name Eddie Spaghetti?
Eddie Spaghetti- "It's just a stupid thing the kids used to say to make fun of me. I chose to take it and make it work for me."
HID- Where's the best place to buy sweet cowboy hats?
Eddie Spaghetti- "Any good western store should do it. The key is in the shaping of it. You need to make sure the store has a steam thingy and to have them let YOU use it!"
HID- You guys have played Detroit quite a few times now. Any favorite places to hit up while you are in town?
Eddie Spaghetti- "I'd love to go to a Tigers game there!"
HID- Anything else you would like to tell your Detroit fans?
Eddie Spaghetti- "Just wear your clean underwear because we're gonna rock your pants off!"
Doors for tonight's show open at 8 p.m. and Radio Burns will kick the night off. $12 will get you in the door and all ages are welcome. Small's is located at 10339 Conant in Hamtramck. For more details on this show, click here
