Art is Taking Over the Sidewalks of Detroit

This Saturday, August 2nd the streets of Detroit will be filled with performing artists of all types. It is the 2nd Annual Sidewalk Festival of Performing Arts and it is happening from 3 p.m. until about 9 p.m.

The festival is held in the Redford and Brightmoor Neighborhoods of Detroit, on the west side of the city. It will feature all sorts of entertainment, including poetry, acting, music, dancing, and much more. A couple of our favorite musical acts will also be performing at this event, Tunde Olaniran and Passalacqua. You can check both out at the "Temple of Dreams" stage at Redford and Lahser, with Passalacqua set to hit the stage at 6 p.m. followed by Tunde at 7 p.m. We highly suggest you head out early though and check out all of the amazing and awe inspiring artists performing at this event. We're sure you will see something you have never seen before. You can check out a list of all of this year's artists here. Just click on their photos for more info.
