Paczki is a word that not everyone around the world knows, but here in Metro Detroit, it's rare to find someone that doesn't know what paczki are! Some may just consider them jelly doughnuts, but they're so much more. After all, people don't party like crazy for national doughnut day, but they definitely do for Paczki Day!

People throughout the area will be lining up at their favorite bakery and feasting on these delicious pieces of fried dough stuffed with their favorite filling. Sure, you can head to your local grocery store and pick up a box, but for those that want the most authentic paczki around, they head to Hamtramck.
