Go Tiger Go, Shady Groves, Black Shampoo and The Lefties Play The Loving Touch this Weekend!

You've heard us talk about Go Tiger Go and Shady Groves quite a bit lately. We had a chance to finally chat with Go Tiger Go before their album release show a couple of weeks ago. And we talked with Shady Groves and premiered their new music video the week before that. Now we're going to talk about these two bands again because this weekend they are hitting the stage together!

In case you still don't know who these bands are, here's a little background. Shady Groves is the latest project from Adam Fitzgerald, Dylan Caron, Jeff Yateman, Jamie Dulin and Colton Caron. Their tunes cross the lines between many different genres, each song having a different feel. They just released a new album, Bitzer, that you can check out below.

The guys in Go Tiger Go have known each other for years! The band actually started back in 2009, but now they have finally solidified their lineup with Paul Corsi (Guitar, Vocals), Matt Puz (Bass, Vocals), Ryan Patten (Drums) and Steve Delaney (Guitar, Vocals). They have gritty sun-kissed indie rock sound that can be heard on their new album Eating Berries in the Dark. Give that a listen below.

If you like what you hear and you want to see both of these bands perform live, head to The Loving Touch this Saturday, May 28th. Also joining them on the stage are Black Shampoo and The Lefties. Cover is only $5 and 18+ are welcome. Because these bands REALLY want to see you at The LT this weekend, we are also giving away 4 PAIRS of tickets! If you would like the chance to see these great bands with a friend for free, please email your name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with LT in the subject line. We will draw four lucky winners on Saturday morning and will send them details on how to claim their prize.

Doors are set to open at 8 p.m. on Saturday. For more info on this show click here
