Check Out The Palmer Park Art Fair This Weekend

The first Palmer Park Art Fair took place in Palmer Park in 1977, it was intended to be an outdoor celebration of the best artists in Detroit. The art fair ran through the 70s and 80s before it disbanded. Then, three years ago the People for Palmer Park brought the fair back and turned it into something bigger and better than ever.
This year the fair will feature 100 of the best artists the city has to offer, this includes 15 student artists that were chosen to participate in the fair. You can watch the artists work and purchase one of a kind pieces from some of the most famous people in Detroit.

The Fair will take place this Saturday and Sunday in Palmer Park. It will run from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday. The fair is free for the whole family and the weather is supposed to be nice, so head out to Palmer Park and get your art on this weekend!

Palmer Park is located at 910 Merrill Plaisance, Detroit, MI 48203.
