Head Down to Corktown Thursday Night for The Punk Show

If you're in the mood for a great punk rock show, head down to Corktown Tavern this Thursday night. Our pals in The Dewtons will be hitting the stage along with City Mouse, Bastardous and Due North.

We've told you before that The Dewtons are one of the best Detroit punk bands to see live. They always put on a great show and have more energy than a lot of bands in the area. The guys have been playing out of town a lot lately, with a few hometown shows sprinkled in here and there. However, some of the members also have other music projects going on right now. So your chances to see this band live might become fewer and fewer.

Bastardous is a great band featuring some of Detroit's favorite rockers, Tony DelBel, Nick Gigler and Rich Tschirhart. Due North is an awesome band, we've told you about a time or two before. They just released their first full length, Saving Daylight, that you can learn more about here. And last, but not least, City Mouse is a band hailing from both Kentucky and California and they're currently making their way across the US of A.

Doors will open at 9 p.m. on Thursday and the bands are set to start around 9:30 p.m. 21 and up are welcome. Corktown Tavern is located at 1716 Michigan Ave. in Detroit. For more info on this show, click here.
