Hamtramck to Heidelberg Bike Ride

This Saturday, July 19th Detroiters will be meeting up at Baker Streetcar Bar in Hamtramck to embark on a 16 mile bike ride from Hamtramck to The Heidelberg Project and back. Participants will ride at a casual pace and see some of the city's highlights, including the Hamtramck Disneyland art display, The Packard Plant, the D.I.A., a food stop at the famous Milano Bakery in the Eastern Market, and of course, The Heidelberg Project.

This ride is free to participate in and is a great way to meet others that are into biking. For a full map of the course that they will be riding, click here.

Helmets and bike locks are recommended, along with water and sunblock. Riders will be meeting up at 11 a.m. and are expected to return to the bar at around 2 p.m. Baker's Streetcar Bar is located at 9817 Joseph Campau in Hamtramck. Please RSVP to the event here.
