The Michigan F.A.S.H. Fest will be held in Detroit on September 6,7, and 8th at 1274 Library Street in Suite 300.
The festivities begin on Friday, September 6th with The Runway Industry Showcase that will feature 4 different designers including IVY's Custom Corsetry by Robin Richardson, Everything Alpaca, Bridget Sullivan Designs, and Chrysalis Fashions by Mira Bedi. This event starts at 8 p.m. After the designers show their latest lines, there will be a reception featuring food from Vicente's Cuban Cuisine. You will have a chance to mix and mingle with the designers and those in the design community of Detroit.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. they will have the Rock Rebel Recycle show featuring Open Chair, Lilacpop Studio and David Philpot. Then there will be an Urban Indie Underground Fashion show featuring Siana Treece and Negash Clothing and Footwear. There will also be musical performances by Dial 81, The Decamp Sisters, Sin Hielo, and Jack & the Bear.
Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature The Student Showcase of Youthville Detroit, a kids' fashion show featuring Detroit Respect and Blu Moon Design, and musical performances by Rare Standard, Gia Warner & Bobby Lewis, Jennifer Kincer & Friends, and Stevie Soul & Omar Aragoned.
