A Homecoming for 1/5 of A Wilhelm Scream this Saturday!

This Saturday at the Magic Stick Black Iris Booking is bringing a show to town that we are thrilled about. A Wilhelm Scream will be hitting the stage as they wrap up their summer tour with The Flatliners and Such Gold. Although the band reigns from New Bedford, MA, their amazing guitar player, Mike Supina, comes from Metro-Detroit and is an old friend of ours. Even though Mike's roots are here in Michigan, A Wilhelm Scream rarely plays in the area and actually seems to be out playing countries around the world more often than they do here in the U.S.  So this is a real treat.

The punk/hardcore five piece has a new 7" out that is available on this tour. The album features their new single "#1". You can check it out below.

Saturday's show is only $12 and Frank White will also be playing. The show is open to all ages and doors are at 8 p.m. Black Iris is also throwing an after party downstairs at the Garden Bowl with S.N.A.F.U. and Slaves to the Pavement. That show will start immediately after the show upstairs (probably around midnight) and is free. Coincidentally, Saturday night is also Christie from Hip In Detroit's 30th Birthday and we will be partying it up at both of these shows. So if seeing some awesome bands and one of the best guitarists to ever come out of Detroit wasn't enough reason for you to come out to this show, celebrating the birth of one of the ladies of Hip In Detroit is all the reason you need.
