Rust Belt to Open New Patio Bar this Weekend

The Rust Belt Market in Ferndale is a destination that offers up a unique experience you can't find anywhere else. The market hosts around 40 "permanent" vendors and a few pop-ups every weekend throughout the year. They also have an in-house bar and an event space that they use for weddings, corporate events, festivals and pop-up shows throughout the year. The Rust Belt has helped tons of local businesses grow into big companies and has become a fixture at the corner of 9 Mile and Woodward where they reside. But, this weekend they are taking it to the next level and making a whole new mark in the City of Ferndale.

This weekend they will be celebrating Pride Weekend by debuting their new outdoor patio and bar that is located at the corner of Woodward and Nine Mile. The new space features tons of outdoor seating, with custom outdoor cushions, and a bar that will offer up a few cold drinks on tap. You will be able to sit outside on the patio, order a drink, and sit and enjoy it out in the sun surrounded by flowers and plants from Lady Lazarus, which is located in the market.


The Rust Belt is open from 12 to 7 on Friday, 11 until 7 on Saturday and 11 until 6 on Sunday. This will be the first official weekend that you can check out the bar and patio and have a drink, but it will be open all summer long.
