Free Meditation Class at the Ferndale Library

The New Year is a great time to make resolutions. It’s a great time to renew your vows to get healthy and focus on living life to the fullest. But, getting healthy can get pricey. From organic food to gym memberships, making a change can add up. Meditation is one of the best ways to clear your mind and improve your overall heath. This Tuesday, January 12th The Ferndale Library is inviting you to come learn how to practice for free.

The Library has invited the Isha Foundation into to teach a free class called Meditation for Clarity, Health and Joy. The short session will help you learn the tools to start practicing meditation on your own as part of your daily routine. Meditation has been known to reduce stress and improve overall health. Fifteen minutes a day can literally change your life and add years onto it. If you are trying to make some positive changes for the new year, this is a great way to learn how to incorporate meditation into your daily routine.

The workshop begins at 7 p.m. this Tuesday in the Library Community Room. The Ferndale Library is located at 222 E. Nine Mile Road in Ferndale.
