Covenfest Takes Over Smalls this Friday!

This Friday, October 26th Covenfesst will return to Small's for the fourth year in the row. This annual Halloween party is known for its great cover bands and an important charity component that raises funds for some very important causes. Over the years they have donated thousands of dollars to groups like Enough SAID Detroit, Turning Point Detroit, and the Ruth Ellis Center.

This year's fest will try to raise money for the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center and it will feature Deanna Lori as Beyoncé, The Lowcocks as The Who, Positive Approach, Heartbreaker, Nique Love Rhodes & The NLR Experience as Jay-Z, and Lurve it to Death (Alice Cooper tribute feat. members of Glamzig, Golden Torso and Electric Six). They are asking for a $10 donation at the door and their will be a silent auction where attendees can bid on some really great items to raise money for the cause.

Doors for this years fest will open at 8 p.m. this Friday and the first band will hit the stage at 8:30 p.m. Throw on your favorite costume and come out to party for a good cause this Friday!
