IPO Brings Pop Music to PJ's Lager House this Weekend

The International Pop Overthrow festival takes over PJ's Lager House this Thursday thru Saturday. Now in its 11th year in Detroit, the goal of this event is to "give every worthy band who’d like to play their music in a festival atmosphere the chance to do so, and the other is to bring pop music the attention it so richly deserves." IPO has held shows around the world, from its home base in LA to Chicago, New York, and even Liverpool and Stockholm.

For this year's Detroit edition, IPO will bring out 22 act from the area to perform at 4 different shows, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Some of the highlights on the bill include Nina & The Buffalo Riders , The Bruised Reed and Ronny Tibbs. You can check out the full lineup and set times below. Cover for this event $10 per show, with at least 5 acts on each show. 21+ are welcome to all of the evening shows and 18+ are welcome during the day.
