Feel the Music of Sweat this Friday at the Gloom Pride Release Show

This Friday, August 11th Sweat will release their long anticipated second album titled Gloom Pride.
The new album showcases a lot of growth for the group. The band stayed true to its heavy roots, but it also showcased a new understanding of writing and music composition on this recording. The vocals on this album meld so perfectly with the guitars that when you listen, you can literally feel the music instead of just hearing it. The group has stated that Gloom Pride deals with themes of anxiety and depression, but you don't need to know a single lyric to understand that because Krista's voice emotes passion and rage every time she opens her mouth. Sweat is not your typical band and Gloom Pride is not your typical album, both are a testament to hard work creativity and passion.

You can pick up a copy of the album and experience Sweat for yourself this Friday. They will be playing alongside Cloud Rat, Sunrot and God Root at The Trumbullplex in Detroit. Admission is a sliding scale with a $6- $10 suggested donation. Copies of Gloom Pride and tons of new merch will also be available at the show. Plus, our sponsors Suck It Suicide will be in house raising money for their very important cause.

Doors for the show open at 8 p.m. and all ages are welcome to attend.  If this show is half as good as the album, we are all in for a treat!
