If you're a fan of hardcore music, we think we have a band you will like. Ourselves is a 4 piece band from Detroit featuring Joshua Beausoleil, Scott Thomas Christie, Cale Kehoe and Mike Ketelhut. Their sound has been compared to bands like Burn, 411, and Quicksand. The guys recently headed into the studio to record their first 7" with Matthew Cross (Orange 9mm/Collapse), which already gives them some clout in our book. The album is set to come out some time this fall on Dropping Bombs, a newer record label in the Detroit area that has released albums for bands like Tharsis They and Spit Spewing Snakes.
