Hip In Detroit's Guide to DIY 2015

This weekend the DIY Street Fair will take over the streets of Ferndale for three days. The festival will feature live music, adult beverages, food, and over 120 unique vendors.

Cornhole Tournament 

This year's 120+ vendor lineup includes Mary's Monstrosities, crave jewelry design, Guitar Grip, Lounies Soap Co., Don't Be Trashy Designs, RewareVintage.com, Mitten Made, Detroit Grooming Co., Cellar Door Bath Supply Co, Paintings by Jason Gibner , Alchemy Slow Living Studio, Alanna St. Laurent Photography and Glass Action.

The Funky Ferndale Art Fair will also be taking place in Ferndale the same weekend. This fair is on the west side of Woodward (DIY is on the east side). There will be more art and vendors to walk through.

Friday: 3 PM - 8 PM
Saturday: 10 AM - 8 PM
Sunday: 11 AM - 6 PM

    1. Actually, as you can see by the map above, it is on more than one street. It takes place on E. Troy and 9 Mile, as well as in the parking lot between and the lot behind the LT and WAB. And let's be honest, pretty much every side street is taken over by attendees' vehicles. So DIY kind of takes over all of the streets on the east side of Woodward. But, officially, I guess it is just 2 streets.
