The Detroit Improv Festival

This week laughter will be over taking Ferndale because the Detroit Improv Festival is coming to town. This event features 225 improvisors performing in 4 venues over 5 days. Venues include Go Comedy!, The Ringwald Theater, Rust Belt Market, and Como's. Comedians and improv troops from all over the US fly in for this event. There is a full list on the website and many recognizable names in the lineup.

The Detroit Improv Festival funs from August 7 through the 11th. Tickets are sold for one night, for the weekend only, and for the full festival. The prices for tickets range from $45 - $100  and can be purchased online at DetroitImprovFestival.org.  You can also purchase them at Go Comedy! on any day during the event.  Proceeds from this festival will go to the Detroit Improv Collective and Gilda's Club of Metro Detroit.  Laughter is the cure for so many of the obstacles we face daily. Why not spend a few days giggling your problems away?
