Friday, January 13th - Jason's Back - Friday the 13th Art Show @ The Painted Lady: Celebrate Friday the 13th at The Painted Lady with a Jason mask art show! Artists from the area will have works on display, all on the famous Jason mask from the Friday the 13th movies. KO Prints will also be on site screen printing shirts for the event, and there will be a raffle with proceeds going towards buying pepper spray for patrons. The fun starts at 6 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m.

Friday, January 13th - Some Like It Hot @ Redford Theatre: The Redford Theatre is celebrating its 95th birthday this year with tons of iconic movies on the schedule. This Friday night, Marilyn Monroe will be on their big screen for Some Like It Hot. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased online here. The movie starts at 8 p.m. Be sure to bring some cash with you for the concession stand!

Saturday, January 14th - Boblo Boat - A Detroit Ferry Tale @ The Senate Theater: If you were ever lucky enough to go to Boblo on the Boblo Boat, you know there was nothing else like it. From the anticipation of the fun day ahead of you on the ride to the dance floor on the lower level, it was a magical ride every time. This Saturday night, the Senate Theater will be hosting a screening of a documentary about the Boblo Boats, entitled Boblo Boats A Detroit Ferry Tale. Tickets for the screening are $12 with a VIP option available for $25. You can pick your tickets up online here. The organ overture starts at 7:30 p.m. and the movie starts at 8 p.m.

Saturday, January 14th - Duende @ Bowlero: Have a cocktail, throw some balls, and enjoy the sounds of Duende this Saturday night at Bowlero. They will be playing 2 sets in the lounge beginning at 9 p.m. 18+ are welcome. Admission is free.
