Join The Ride for Pride

2018 is being called "The Year of The Woman". This year we saw more women run for office than every before and the #metoo and #timesup movements are changing the dynamics of our offices, our relationships, and our daily interactions. Women are coming together to make a change in real ways and it's working

One of the coolest local female groups that comes together every year for a cause is The Dahlias, a female motorcycle riding group that uses their passion for riding and female bonding to do something positive for their community. Every year, The Dahlias gather together to ride for a cause. This year's event is being called the Ride for Pride, and proceeds form the benefit will go to the Ruth Ellis Center

This year's event will take place on August 26th and it will take off from Harding Park (107 Mapledale, Ferndale Mi 48220) at 4:30 p.m. sharp. It is only $10 to participate in the ride if you sign up in advance and $15 to join the day of the ride. You can purchase advance tickets o attend here. The ride will be making a midpoint stop at Clutch & Throttle before it ends at The Loving Touch, where The Dahlias will be hosting a party that includes a raffle and auction. Everyone is welcome to attend the party, bike or no bike. To learn more about the event you can click here. You can also learn a little more about these ladies by watching our very wet interview with them in the parking lot of The Loving Touch last week. Check it out and mark your calendars for this year's event!
