Say So Long to The Sanctuary with Terror, Bent Life and more!

Tonight Detroit will say goodbye to one of its most loved DIY venues, The Sanctuary. The venue took over an old church on Outer Drive and turned it into a great place to see live music. Over the last few years they have had a ton of Detroit area bands on their stage as well as some great national acts. It was always a super cool place to go, grab a couple of beers on your way down, hang out with friends, and see an awesome show. Unfortunately, as they say, all good things must come to an end. After recently being broke into yet again, the venue has decided that it's time to call it quits.

This Friday, October 6th, the space will be holding its last show, and it's definitely going out with a bang! Terror will be hitting the stage along with Bent Life, Left Behind, and Detain. Tickets for the show are only $15. You can still purchase them in advance here. We're sure this one will be packed. So you might want to think about picking those tickets up ahead of time if you want to be sure that you get in the door for this, it should be pretty epic. Cover will be $17 at the door. Doors are set to open at 7 p.m. tonight and all ages are welcome.

We want to say a special thanks to Maxwell Lange for putting his heart and soul into this venue. You gave Detroit an awesome space to have a ton of great shows and create some great memories. Thank you for everything you've done for Detroit and its music scene!
