Ant Hall is Making it Official this Friday

This year the Hamtramck Music Festival kicked things off at the new Plant Ant Hall in Hamtramck. Well, even though you may have already got a look inside, the official grand opening is happening this weekend! This Friday night, March 24th the hall has an awesome party planned with live music, food and live theatre.

Here's the lineup for the evening. Doors are set to open at 6 p.m. and the official grand opening ceremony will kick off at 7. Then, at 8 p.m. set your eyes on the stage for The Detroit Musical, an original comedy that "follows one Detroit family through 300 years of the ups and downs of life in the Motor City." After the show, the party isn't over! Head next door to the adjoined Ghost Light to check out The Scrappers and Matt Dmits. The music is set to start at 11 p.m. Throughout the night there will also be food available on site from Polish Village Cafe, making this an all around awesome night!

Tickets for the Ant Hall Grand Opening Celebration are only $10 and can be purchased at For more information on the Ant Hall, and to stay in the loop on upcoming events, head over and give them a "like" on Facebook here. For more information on the grand opening party click here.
