Feel Like a Kid Again at Toytopia

If you want to feel like a kid again, the Michigan Science Center is the place to be! Think of your favorite toys when you were a kid, Legos, Barbies, Lincoln Logs. Well MiSci has busted open the toy box and brought out these fun toys and many more for a special exhibit called Toytopia!

This exhibit features displays of some of the most popular vintage toys over the decades, interactive displays, and even a life size doll house. There is even a small arcade featuring some of the best video games from the past! This exhibit just officially opened to the public a couple of weeks ago, but we had the chance to preview it during the Colorosity event. It was super fun to look at all of the great displays, see toys from our childhood, and get our hands on some Legos and Potato Heads again. Whether you have kids or you're a kid at heart, this is a great way to spend the day. Plus, the rest of the Michigan Science Center has a ton of great hands-on exhibits too!
If you would like to check out Toytopia, head to the Michigan Science Center between now and March 31st. Tickets to the center range in price, packages that include admission to Toytopia run between $24 -$28. For a full list of prices, click here. Make sure you also scroll all the way to the bottom of that page for tips on how to save some $$$ on admission! The Michigan Science Center is located at 5020 John R. in Detroit, right by the DIA. For more info and for hours of operation, head over to Mi-Sci.org.
