No Rest Fest at Jumbo's

This Saturday, January 31st head down to Jumbo's for a fest full of some of the heaviest bands Detroit has to offer. It's called No Rest Fest and it's being put on by the fine folks from No Rest Until Ruin. Rightfully so, the lineup includes No Rest's own The Armed, Old Gods and Nice Hooves along with Reverend, Golden Torso, SNAFU, 1876, Supporting Roles, Tharsis They, Misfortunate Sons, Undesirable People and an Andrew WK cover band. With a lineup like that you can expect to see some great musicians, some screaming dudes, some shirtless dudes, and some smelly dudes. Should make for a great show and a good night.

Doors for No Rest Fest open at 8:30 p.m. with bands starting at 9. All of the bands are going to be playing "short sets" and there is a DJ between bands during the "short breaks", so you can expect a non stop party.
