This Saturday night,
El Club is hosting a show that will be unlike anything you've experienced before. They are bringing
Steve Lehman & Sélébéyone to their stage for the evening along with special guest Jamaal May, performing spoken word. "Sélébéyone takes the conversation between jazz and hip-hop to “feverish new heights” (The WIRE), drawing from Senegalese rap, modern jazz, live electronics, and underground hip-hop to create a unique form of urban experimentalism." The group is headed by saxophonist Steve Lehman, based out of New York. Give the project a listen below.
Tickets to see this group perform live are $25 and can be purchased in advance
