Head Downtown To Do Your Shopping This Holiday Season

If you're looking to give some unique gifts this holiday season, head downtown to do your shopping! Now through January 7th there are dozens of pop-up shops set up throughout Capitol Park and Cadillac Square in Downtown Detroit. Although these shops are just temporary, they're not just set up in some flimsy tents. Instead, the organizers have built greenhouse and igloo type structures throughout the area, giving a more permanent and stylish feel. Some of the sellers featured at these shops include Aptemal Clothing (aka Detroit Hustles Harder), Art Life, and several vintage shops.
You can even pick up your Christmas tree while shopping at the parks! In addition to these outdoor structures, indoors at 1001 Woodward Avenue, local vendors and artisans have also set up shop. This location includes Rebel Nell, The Farmer's Hand and Ash & Erie. While you are out shopping in the parks, you can also stop in at one of the lodges in these awesome little structures where you can lounge with friends and grab a drink or snack.

This is a truly unique shopping experience and a great addition to Detroit this holiday season. The shops at the parks and at 1001 Woodward Ave are open Tuesday thru Sunday, however they will be closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Hours of operation are as follows:

Tuesday–Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday from Noon to 5:00 p.m.
