Charivari Detroit Takes Over Belle Isle This Weekend

This weekend the Charivari Music Festival is returning to Detroit for its third year, but it wont be the same EDM dance festival that it was the last two years. The organizers have made some changes to take this celebration of life and music to the next level .

First of all, they have moved the party from the William G. Milliken State Park to Belle Isle. This gives them enough space to add more food and more activities throughout the weekend! This year's festival will feature art and new fitness opportunities alongside the music and food. To see the full lineup of bands playing this year's three day event you can click here.

The second big change is that they had to start charging for the festival. Fortunately, they were able to keep FRIDAY FREE and ticket prices for the rest of the weekend are very reasonable. One day passes are $30 and two day passes are only $55. The festival is also FREE all weekend for anyone under the age of 16 or above the age of 60. So bring grandma and the kids along and have a fun time together! For a full list of places you can purchase fee free tickets click here

The event runs from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. on Friday and Noon 'til Midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Charivari is a positive place for people of all backgrounds. It's a festival dedicated to music and coming together. So come out and celebrate music, community and more at Belle Isle this weekend, August 5th - 7th!
