Win Tickets to See Nigel & The Dropout with Ancient Language and Earth Engine

This Saturday you won't want to miss Nigel & The Dropout at Marble Bar! We already planned on telling you that you should go see this awesome show because it's the first time the band is playing at this venue. But, now we found out there is an even bigger reason that you won't want to miss this show. This is going to be Nigel & The Dropout's last show for a while, at least for the rest of 2016!

Over the past year this duo has become one of the most popular bands in Detroit's music scene. Last year they released a full length Folderal. Then, earlier this year they collaborated with Passalacqua on a track called "Rearrange". We highly suggest that you head over and check out all of their releases on their bandcamp here. Then head out and see them at Marble Bar this weekend!

Saturday night Nigel & The Dropout will be joined by Earth Engine and Ancient Language. In case you haven't heard, Ancient Language now plays with a full band, with the addition of guitar, saxaphone and keys played by Matt Hoffman and Matt Beyers. It is a completely different experience than the Ancient Language that you're used to and even more awesome! Admission to see these three great acts is only $5 and 18+ are welcome.

We are also getting some people in to this amazing show for free! We are giving away 3 pairs of tickets to this show to 3 lucky readers. If you would like to enter to win a pair of tickets, please send your name to hipindetroit@gmail.com with N&D in the subject line. We will draw our winners on Saturday morning and will send them details on how to claim their prize.

Doors are set to open at 9 p.m. on Saturday night. Marble Bar is located at 1501 Holden St. in Detroit.
